We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
Article 9 of the Law on Pensions and End of Service Gratuity for Omani Government Officers is hereby amended to read as follows:
Article 9
The management of the fund must be undertaken by a board of directors composed as follows:
– Chairman of the Civil Service Council — Chairman
– Minister of Civil Service — Deputy chairman
– Minister of Health — Member
– Minister of Social Affairs and Labour — Member
– Undersecretary of Financial Affairs at the Ministry of Finance and Economy — Member
– Director general of the fund — Secretary
Article II
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
