Royal Decree 96/88 Ratifying the Convention Establishing the Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

Royal Decree 40/88 Authorising the Ambassador of the Sultanate to the United States of America to Sign the Convention Establishing the Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency,

and the mentioned convention signed in Washington, DC, on 21 June 1988,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The mentioned Convention Establishing the Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency is hereby ratified.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
