Royal Decree 3/89 Appointing Non-resident Ambassadors

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

and Royal Decree 40/86 Issuing the Diplomatic and Consular Corps Law,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

Ambassador Saud bin Sulaiman bin Hamyar Al-Nabhani—Our ambassador to the Federal Republic of Germany—is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Kingdom of Norway.

Article II

Ambassador Mubarak bin Khalfan bin Naajim Al-Sabahi—Our ambassador to the Republic of the Sudan—is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Republic of Uganda.

Article III

Ambassador Dawood bin Hamdan bin Abdullah Al-Hamdan—Our ambassador to Japan—is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to New Zealand.

Article IV

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
