Royal Decree 2/97 Amending a Job Title

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,

the Civil Service Law issued by Royal Decree 8/80 and its amendments,

Royal Decree 90/85 Determining the Employment Status of the Position of Secretary General,

and Royal Decree 109/94 Appointing a Secretary General for Folk Arts in the Ministry of National Heritage and Culture,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The job title of His Highness Sayyid Fatik bin Fahr bin Taimur Al-Said is hereby amended to “Secretary General in the Office of the Minister of National Heritage and Culture.”

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
