We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,
the Civil Service Law issued by Royal Decree 8/80 and its amendments,
and Royal Decree 90/85 Determining the Occupational Status of the Position of Secretary General,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article 1
Ahmed bin Saud bin Said Al-Siyabi is hereby appointed Secretary General in the Office of the Grand Mufti of the Sultanate.
Article 2
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
