Royal Decree 6/99 Determining the Mandates of the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs and Adopting Its Organisational Structure

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,

and the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State issued by Royal Decree 26/75 and its amendments,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

The mandates of the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs are hereby determined in accordance with the attached Annex 1.

Article 2

The Organisational Structure of the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs is hereby adopted in accordance with the attached Annex 2.

Article 3

All that is contrary to this decree, or in conflict with its provisions, is hereby repealed.

Article 4

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
