Royal Decree 100/2001 Appointing a Non-Resident Ambassador

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,

and the Diplomatic and Consular Corps Law issued by Royal Decree 40/86 and its amendments,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

Ambassador Sheikh Salim bin Mohammed bin Salim Al-Wahaibi, Our ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the People’s Republic of Bangladesh.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
