Royal Decree 100/2001 Appointing a Non-Resident Ambassador

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,

and the Diplomatic and Consular Corps Law issued by Royal Decree 40/86 and its amendments,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

Ambassador Sheikh Salim bin Mohammed bin Salim Al-Wahaibi, Our ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Peopleโ€™s Republic of Bangladesh.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
