Royal Decree 24/2006 Establishing a Secretariat General for the Supreme Committee for City Planning and Appointing a Secretary General to It

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,

Royal Decree 27/85 Establishing a Supreme Committee for City Planning and its amendments,

Royal Decree 90/85 Determining the Employment Status of the Position of Secretary General,

Royal Decree 86/99 Adopting the Organisational Structure of the Supreme Committee for City Planning,

and the Civil Service Law issued by Royal Decree 120/2004,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The Technical Secretariat of the Supreme Committee for City Planning is hereby made a secretariat general.

Article II

Engineer Muneer bin Baqir bin Hussein Al-Mousawi is hereby appointed Secretary General of the Supreme Committee for City Planning.

Article III

All that is contrary to this decree is hereby repealed.

Article IV

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
