Royal Decree 7/2009 Dissolving the Ministerial Committee for Tourism

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,

the Tourism Law issued by Royal Decree 33/2002,

Royal Decree 95/2005 Determining the Mandates of the Ministry of Tourism and Adopting Its Organisational Structure,

and Royal Decree 117/2006 Forming the Ministerial Committee for Tourism,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The Ministerial Committee for Tourism is hereby dissolved and its mandates are hereby transferred to the Ministry of Tourism.

Article II

All that is contrary to this decree, or in conflict with its provisions, is hereby repealed.

Article III

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
