Royal Decree 101/2011 Appointing a President for the Public Authority for Radio and Television and His Deputy

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 101/96,

and Royal Decree 108/2010 Establishing the Public Authority for Radio and Television and Promulgating Its System,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

Dr Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al-Harrasi is hereby appointed President of the Public Authority for Radio and Television with the rank of minister.

Article II

Nasser bin Sulaiman bin Hamad Al-Sibani is hereby appointed Deputy President of the Public Authority for Radio and Television with the special grade.

Article III

This decree shall be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
