Royal Decree 42/2013 Approving the Assignment by Mari Petroleum Limited of 25% of Its Rights and Obligations in the Petroleum Agreement Signed on 28 June 2006 for Block 43B to Hawasna Limited Liability

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 101/96,

the Oil and Gas Law promulgated by Royal Decree 8/2011,

Royal Decree 90/2006 Approving the Petroleum Agreement between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and Hawasna Limited Liability (Block 43B),

Royal Decree 107/2008 Approving the Assignment by Hawasna Limited Liability Company of 25% of Its Rights and Obligations in the Petroleum Agreement Signed on 28 June 2006 for Block 43B to Mari Petroleum Limited,

the collection of documents by which Mari Gas Limited changed its name to Mari Petroleum Limited,

and the collection of documents by which Mari Petroleum Limited has assigned  its rights and obligations under the agreement signed on 28 June 2006 for Block  43B to Hawasna Limited Liability, which accepts this assignment,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The assignment by Mari Petroleum Limited of 25% of  its rights and obligations in the petroleum agreement signed on 28 June 2006 to Hawasna Limited Liability is hereby approved.

Article II

This decree shall be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
