Royal Decree 39/2016 Issuing the Law on the Continuation of the Validity of Licences for Foreign Accounting and Auditing Companies and Exempting Owners of Omani Offices from the Full-Time Requirement

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 101/96,

the Law Regulating the Accounting and Auditing Profession promulgated by Royal Decree 77/86,

and Royal Decree 21/2011 on the Law on the Continuation of the Validity of Licences for Foreign Accounting and Auditing Companies and Exempting Owners of Omani Offices from the Full-Time Requirement,

and after presentation to Majlis Oman,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The provisions of the attached Law on the Continuation of the Validity of Licences for Foreign Accounting and Auditing Companies and Exempting Owners of Omani Offices from the Full-Time Requirement shall apply.

Article II

This decree shall be published in the Official Gazette.
