Royal Decree 30/2017 Transferring and Appointing in the Diplomatic Corps

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 101/96,

and the Law Governing the Foreign Ministry promulgated by Royal Decree 32/2008,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The ambassadors named below are hereby transferred to the headquarters of the Foreign Ministry:

1. Sheikh Humaid bin Ali bin Sultan Al-Mani, Our ambassador to the French Republic.

2. Hamid bin Said bin Salim Al-Ibrahim, Our ambassador to the State of Kuwait.

Article II

Ambassador Sheikh Dr Ghazi bin Said bin Abdullah Al-Bahar Al-Rawas is hereby appointed an ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the French Republic.

Article III

The following are hereby granted:

1. Minister Plenipotentiary Dr Adnan bin Ahmed bin Abdullah Al-Ansari the title of ambassador, and is hereby appointed an ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the State of Kuwait.

2. Advisor Sheikh Al-Abbas bin Ibrahim bin Hamad Al-Harthy the title of ambassador, and is hereby appointed an ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to Malaysia.

Article IV

This decree shall be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
