Royal Decree 16/2019 Appointing a Non-resident Ambassador

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 101/96,

and the Law Governing the Foreign Ministry promulgated by Royal Decree 32/2008,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

Ambassador Emad bin Hamoud bin Salim Al-Abri, Our ambassador to the Federal Republic of Brazil, is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to: the Republic of Argentina, the Oriental Republic of Uruguay, the Republic of  Paraguay, the Republic of  Ecuador, the Republic of Peru, the Republic of Bolivia, the Republic of  Chile, the Republic of  Suriname, the Republic of  Guyana, the Republic of Colombia, and the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.

Article II

This decree shall be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
