We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,
and Royal Decree 64/78 Issuing the Law on the Expropriation for Public Benefit,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article 1
The South Jibroo Region Replanning Project specified in the attached note and masterplan is hereby deemed a public benefit project.
Article 2
The competent entities may seize, through direct execution, real estate and land necessary for the mentioned project, and all establishments on them, in accordance with the provisions of the mentioned Law on the Expropriation for Public Benefit.
Article 3
All initial procedures carried out in this regard are hereby approved, and the competent entities shall complete the implementation immediately.
Article 4
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
