We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State 26/75,

and the petroleum agreement concluded between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the Elf Group Companies and signed by the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, Oil, and Minerals on 23 September 1976,

hereby decide as follows

Article 1

The petroleum agreement concluded between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the Elf Group Companies and signed by the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, Oil, and Minerals on 23 September 1976 is hereby ratified.

Article 2

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and is considered in force as of the date of its publication.
