Royal Decree 2/81 Declaring the Rank of Minister to the Head of the Diwan of Protocol of His Majesty in Assuming the Duties of His Position

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

Royal Decree 46/80 on the Organisational Structure of the Diwan of Protocol of His Majesty the Sultan,

and Royal Decree 47/80 Issuing the Law Concerning the Statute of the Officers of the Diwan of Protocol of His Majesty the Sultan,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

The Head of Our Diwan of Protocol is hereby granted the same rank as a minister in the performance of the duties of his position.

Article 2

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
