after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

after perusal of Royal Decree 37/78 establishing the Ministry of Post, Telegraph, and Telephone,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

A directorate general named the “Directorate General of Post” is hereby established in the Ministry of Post, Telegraph, and Telephone.

Article 2

The Minister of Post, Telegraph, and Telephone shall undertake the necessary measures to implement the provisions of this decree.

Article 3

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

and the Agreement on Cultural and Scientific Cooperation Between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the Government of Malaysia signed on 22 January 1975,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

The mentioned Agreement on Cultural and Scientific Cooperation Between the Government of the Sultanate and the Government of Malaysia is hereby ratified.

Article 2

The mentioned agreement enters into force in accordance with the text of article 8 of it.

Article 3

The government entities in the Sultanate shall, each within its mandate, implement the provisions of the mentioned agreement.

Article 4

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
