We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of article 10 of the Diplomatic and Consular Corps Law 50/74 issued on 7 December 1974,
and on the basis of matters presented to Us by the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs,
have decreed as follows
Article 1
Sayyid Ahmed Hamoud Al-Harthy is hereby appointed to the grade of Ambassador at the Foreign Ministry.
Article 2
The Minister of State for Foreign Affairs shall implement this decree, and it comes into force from 15 April 1976 and must be published in the Official Gazette.

In view of the importance We attach to the preservation of Our national heritage, and in order for the functions and duties of the Ministry of Omani Heritage to be comprehensive to the widest extent,
have decreed as follows
Article 1
The name of the “Ministry of Omani Heritage” is hereby changed to the “Ministry of National Heritage”.
Article 2
Those concerned shall implement this decree, and it must be published in the Official Gazette.

In pursuance of public interest, We have decided to make some changes to the ministries as follows,
Article 1
Sayyid Mohammed bin Ahmed is hereby appointed Minister of Interior.
Article 2
Dr Asim Al-Jamali is hereby appointed Minister of Land Affairs and Municipalities.
Article 3
Sayyid Fahr bin Taimur is hereby appointed Minister of Youth Affairs and Deputy Minister of Defence.
Article 4
Ahmed Al-Ghazali is hereby appointed Minister of Education.
Article 5
Sayyid Faisal bin Ali is hereby appointed Minister of Omani Heritage.
Article 6
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its publication.

after perusal of Our decree dated 1 October 1974 regarding the profit and income tax rates on Petroleum Development Oman, and in particular articles 1 and 2 of it,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article 1
The profit rate imposed in article I(c) of the mentioned decree is hereby increased from 16.67% (sixteen point sixty-seven per cent) to 20% (twenty per cent).
Article 2
The tax rate imposed in article II(3) is hereby increased from 65.8% (sixty-five point eight per cent) to eighty per cent.
Article 3
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on 1 April 1976.

after perusal of articles 14 and 64 of the Diplomatic and Consular Corps Law 50/74 issued on 7 December 1974,
and based on the matters presented to Us by the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs,
have decreed as follows
Article 1
Ambassador Ismail Khalil Al-Rasasi is hereby transferred from Our embassy to the Imperial State of Iran to the headquarters of the Foreign Ministry with effect from 16 March 1976.
Article 2
Counsellor Sadiq Jawad Suleiman is hereby granted the title of ambassador, and appointed an ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of the Sultanate of Oman to the Imperial State of Iran from 1 April 1976.
Article 3
The Minister of State for Foreign Affairs shall implement this decree, and it must be published in the Official Gazette.
