Royal Decree 29/2022 Ratifying the Cooperation Agreement in the Field of Maritime Transport Between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran

We, Haitham bin Tarik, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State,

and the Cooperation Agreement in the Field of Maritime Transport between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran signed in the city of Tehran on 8 December 2019,

and after presentation to Majlis Al-Shura,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The aforementioned agreement is hereby ratified in the form attached.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

Royal Decree 28/2022 Making Military Promotions and Appointments in the Ministry of Defence

We, Haitham bin Tarik, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State,

and Royal Decree 27/2022 Establishing the Strategic and Defence Studies Academy and Issuing Its System,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

Air Vice-Marshal Saleh bin Yahya bin Masoud Al-Maskari is hereby appointed President of the Strategic and Defence Studies Academy.

Article II

Brigadier Hamid bin Ahmed bin Said Sakroon is hereby promoted to the rank of Major General and appointed Commandant of the National Defence College.

Article III

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
