Royal Decree 12/2017 Approving the Petroleum Agreement Signed between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and Oman Oil Company Exploration & Production LLC for Block 48

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 101/96,

the Oil and Gas Law promulgated by Royal Decree 8/2011,

and the petroleum agreement signed between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and Oman Oil Company Exploration & Production LLC for Block 48 on 31 January 2017,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The aforementioned petroleum agreement is hereby approved.

Article II

This decree shall be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

Royal Decree 11/2017 Determining the Competences of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry and Adopting Its Organisational Structure

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 101/96,

and Royal Decree 102/2005 Determining the Competences of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry and Adopting Its Organisational Structure,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The competences of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry are hereby determined in accordance with the attached Annex 1.

Article II

The organisational structure of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry is hereby adopted in accordance with the attached Annex 2.

Article III

The aforementioned Royal Decree 102/2005 is hereby repealed as well as all that is contrary to this decree, or in conflict with its provisions.

Article IV

This decree shall be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
