We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

Decree 42/74 Issuing the Oil and Minerals Law,

and the Oil Agreement entered into between the Government of the Sultanate and Cluff Oil Limited on 16 September 1978, in particular article 21 of it,

and the assignment by Cluff Limited to Cluff Oil (Australia) NL. of an undivided share of 10% of its interest, rights, and obligations in the mentioned agreement and the acceptance of Cluff Oil (Australia) NL. of this assignment on 10 May 1979,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

The assignment by Cluff Oil Limited of an undivided share of 10% of its interest, rights, and obligations in the mentioned Oil Agreement to Cluff Oil (Australia) NL is hereby approved. The latter company retains the option to acquire an additional undivided share of 10% of those rights and obligations.

Article 2

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its publication.

after perusal of articles 14 and 64 of the Diplomatic and Consular Corps Law 50/74 issued on 7 December 1974,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

Ambassador Salim Mohammed Jumaa Al-Ghailani is hereby transferred from Our Embassy in Islamabad to the Headquarters of the Foreign Ministry.

Article 2

Counsellor Awadh Bader Marie Al-Shanfari is hereby granted the title of ambassador, and appointed an ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of the Sultanate to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

Article 3

Those concerned shall implement this decree, and it comes into force from the date of its issuance. It must be published in the Official Gazette.

and the Agreement Establishing the Arab Industrial Development Organisation concluded between the members of the League of Arab States and signed on 15 May 1979,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

The mentioned Agreement Establishing the Arab Industrial Development Organisation is hereby ratified.

Article 2

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

Ambassador Qasim Abdulrasool Al-Jamali is hereby transferred from Our embassy in the State of Kuwait to be an ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of the Sultanate of Oman to the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Article 3

Those concerned shall implement this decree, and it comes into force from 15 July 1979, and must be published in the Official Gazette.

have decreed as follows

Article 1

The services of Sheikh Abdullah Salim Al-Zidi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, are hereby transferred to the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs to be its Undersecretary.

Article 2

All relevant entities shall implement this decree, each within its mandates.

Article 3

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

Those concerned shall implement this decree, and it comes into force on the date of its issuance and must be published in the Official Gazette.

The mentioned Treaty Between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the Federal Republic of Germany on the Promotion and Reciprocal Protection of Capital Investments signed on 25 June 1979 is hereby ratified.

Article 2

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its publication.

Those concerned shall implement this decree, and it comes into force from 1 July 1979 and must be published in the Official Gazette.
