Royal Decree 1/2017 Ratifying the General Budget of the State for Fiscal Year 2017

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 101/96,

and the Financial Law promulgated by Royal Decree 47/98,

and after presentation to Majlis Oman,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The General Budget of the State for Fiscal Year 2017 is hereby ratified in accordance with the attached schedules.

Article II

All ministries and governmental units shall implement the provisions of this decree each within its competence.

Article III

This decree shall be published in the Official Gazette and shall come into force on 1 January 2017.

Based on the System for Government Land Entitlement issued by Royal Decree 81/84,

the Tender Law issued by Royal Decree 36/2008,

and the Regulation for Granting Ownership of Commercial, Residential-Commercial, and Industrial Government Lands issued by Ministerial Decision 60/2007,

and in pursuance of public interest,

it is hereby decided

Article I

The provisions of the attached regulation hereby apply in regard to granting ownership of commercial, residential-commercial, and industrial government lands and lands allocated for use as fuel stations by public auction.

Article II

The mentioned Ministerial Decision 60/2007 is hereby repealed, as well as all that is contrary to the attached regulation or in conflict with its provisions.

Article III

This decision must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the day following the date of its publication.
