We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 101/96,

and Royal Decree 86/97 regarding Majlis Oman,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

Those named in the attached list are hereby appointed Members of Majlis Al-Dawla.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

Royal Decree 46/2015 Granting Omani Nationality

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 101/96,

and the Omani Nationality Law promulgated by Royal Decree 38/2014,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

Omani nationality is hereby granted to those named in the attached list.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

Royal Decree 45/2015 Adopting the Organisational Structure of the Ministry of Information

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,

Royal Decree 51/97 Adopting the Organisational Structure of the Ministry of Information,

and Royal Decree 35/2009 Determining the Mandates of the Ministry of Information,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The Organisational Structure of the Ministry of Information is hereby adopted in the manner provided in the attached annex.

Article II

The mentioned Royal Decree 51/97 is hereby repealed, as well as all that is contrary to this decree or in conflict with its provisions.

Article III

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

Royal Decree 42/2015 Issuing Amendments to Some Provisions of the Law on the Classification of State Records and the Governance of Protected Places

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 101/96,

and the Law on the Classification of State Records and the Governance of Protected Places promulgated by Royal Decree 118/2011,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The attached amendments are hereby made to the aforementioned Law on the Classification of State Records and the Governance of Protected Places.

Article II

All that is contrary to the attached amendments, or in conflict with their provisions, is hereby repealed.

Article III

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the day following the date of its publication.

Royal Decree 41/2015 regarding the Reorganisation of Public Authorities and Establishments

Arabic We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 101/96, and the System of Public Authorities and Establishments promulgated by Royal Decree 116/91, and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

Public authorities and establishments shall propose the policies they follow in the exercise of their competences, and present them to the Council of Ministers for adoption.

Article II

The Council of Ministers shall conduct an evaluation of the policies applied by public authorities and establishments, and the council may amend them in line with the public policy of the state.

Article III

It is not permitted to simultaneously hold the position of chairman of the board of directors and the president or the executive president of a public authority or establishment. The Council of Ministers shall rectify the status of existing authorities and establishments in accordance with the provisions of this article.

Article IV

Public authorities and establishments shall implement the provisions of this decree.

Article V

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance. Issued on: 13 Muharram 1437 Corresponding to: 27 October 2015
