We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 101/96,
and the Law concerning the Employee System of the Diwan of Royal Court promulgated by Royal Decree 97/97,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
The second, sixth, and twelfth grades of the Grades and Salaries Schedule attached to the aforementioned Law of the Employee System in the Diwan of Royal Court are hereby repealed. The first grade is deemed directly following the third grade, the fifth directly following the seventh, and the eleventh directly following the thirteenth in the application of the provisions of this law.
Article II
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on 1 January 2007.

and the Civil Service Law promulgated by Royal Decree 120/2004,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
The fifth grade of the schedule of grades and salaries attached to the aforementioned Civil Service Law is hereby repealed. The fourth grade is deemed to immediately follow the sixth grade in the application of the provisions of this law.
Article II
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on 1 July 2006.

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,
the Judicial Authority Law issued by Royal Decree 90/99,
Royal Decree 10/2012 Regarding the Governance of the Administration of Judicial Affairs,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
A secretariat general for the Council of Administrative Affairs for the Judiciary stipulated in the mentioned Judicial Authority Law is hereby established named the “Secretariat General of the Council of Administrative Affairs for the Judiciary”. It shall assist the council and its chairman in the exercise of their legally prescribed competences.
Article II
The Secretariat General of the Council of Administrative Affairs for the Judiciary must be managed by a full-time secretary general seconded from among the deputy chairmen of the Supreme Court by a decision by the Chairman of the Council of Administrative Affairs for the Judiciary after the approval of the council for a period of three years, renewable for a similar period or periods, with the same entitlements and job allowances. He must be paid a management allowance determined by a decision by the chairman after the approval of the council.
Article III
The mandates of the Secretary General must be determined by a decision by the Chairman of the Council of Administrative Affairs for the Judiciary after the approval of the council.
Article IV
The organisational structure of the Secretariat General of the Council of Administrative Affairs for the Judiciary is hereby adopted in accordance with the attached annex.
Article V
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
