We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 101/96,
and in pursuanceof public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
The Ministry of National Economy is hereby abolished, and a committee formed by the Council of Ministers shall distribute its competences, allocations, assets, and employees.
Article II
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

Dr Ishaq bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Ruqaishi is hereby appointed Undersecretary of the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries for Agriculture.

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
