We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 101/96,

the Oil and Minerals Law promulgated by Royal Decree 42/74,

and the Petroleum Agreement signed on 22 November 2008 between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman, Occidental Oman Gas LLC, Oman Oil Company SAOC, and Sixteen Investment Company LLC for Block 62,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The aforementioned petroleum agreement is hereby approved.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

Article II

Competent entities shall deposit the instrument of ratification of the aforementioned protocol in accordance with its provisions.

Article III

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

The accession of the Sultanate of Oman to the International Atomic Energy Agency and its statute is hereby approved.

Article II

Competent entities shall deposit the instrument of accession to the aforementioned agency in accordance with its provisions.

Article III

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
