We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,

the Law of Muscat Municipality issued by Royal Decree 8/92,

and the Law Concerning the Officer System of the Diwan of Royal Court issued by Royal Decree 97/97,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

Engineer Sultan bin Hamdoon bin Saif Al-Harthi is hereby appointed Chairman of Muscat Municipality with the grade of undersecretary of a ministry.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

and the Law concerning the Employee System of the Diwan of Royal Court promulgated by Royal Decree 97/97,

have decreed as follows

Article I

Engineer Abdullah bin Abbas bin Ahmed is hereby appointed Secretary General of the Diwan of Royal Court with his same grade and financial allocations.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

Arabic We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 101/96, and the Agreement between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the Government of the Republic of Turkey Concerning the Reciprocal Promotion and Protection of Investments signed in Muscat on 16 Muharram 1428, corresponding to 4 February 2007, and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The aforementioned Agreement between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the Government of the Republic of Turkey Concerning the Reciprocal Promotion and Protection of Investments is hereby ratified.

Article II
