We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 101/96,
and the Diplomatic and Consular Corps Law promulgated by Royal Decree 40/86,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
Ambassador Ahmed bin Nasser bin Hamad Al-Mahrazi, Our ambassador to the Republic of Kazakhstan, is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Kyrgyz Republic.
Article II
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

The Board of Directors of the National Records and Archives Authority is hereby formed under the chairmanship of the Minister of Heritage and Culture and the membership of:

– The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Justice.
– The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health for Planning Affairs.
– The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry for Commerce and Industry.
– The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education for Educational Planning and Human Resources Development Affairs.
– The President of the National Records and Archives Authority.

The text of article 21 of the aforementioned Civil Defence Law is hereby replaced with the following text:
The National Committee for Civil Defence must be formed by a decision by the Council of Ministers based on the proposal of the Inspector General of Police and Customs.
