Based on the Labour Law promulgated by Royal Decree 35/2003,

Royal Decree 89/2020 Establishing the Ministry of Labour, Determining Its Competences, and Adopting Its Organisational Structure,

Ministerial Decision 125/94 regarding the Licensing Rules for the Recruitment of Non-Omani Workers,

Ministerial Decision 79/2008 Governing the Practice of Some Professions, Businesses, and Activities in Some Wilayat,

Ministerial Decision 445/2009 Governing the Practice of Professions in the Field of Reception in Private Health Establishments and Health Clubs,

Ministerial Decision 444/2010 Governing the Practice of Some Professions, Businesses, and Activities in Some Wilayat,

Ministerial Decision 618/2013 Governing the Practice of Some Professions,

Ministerial Decision 31/2015 Governing the Practice of Some Professions,

Ministerial Decision 533/2018 Governing the Practice of Some Professions,

Ministerial Decision 221/2019 Governing the Practice of Some Professions,

Ministerial Decision 47/2020 Governing the Practice of Some Professions,

Ministerial Decision 182/2020 Governing the Practice of Some Professions,

Ministerial Decision 3/2021 Governing the Practice of Some Professions,

Ministerial Decision 8/2021 Governing the Practice of Some Professions and Activities,

Ministerial Decision 9/2021 regarding Governing the Practice of the Vehicle Driving Profession,

and Ministerial Decision 20/2021 Governing the Practice of Some Professions in Private Higher Education Institutions,

and in pursuance of public interest,

it is hereby decided

Article I

Non-Omani manpower is prohibited from practising the professions mentioned in the annex attached to this decision.

Article II

The licences for the recruitment of non-Omani manpower and the licences for the practice of work issued for the professions set out in the annex attached to this decision shall be valid until their expiry date.

Article III

The aforementioned Ministerial Decisions 125/94, 79/2008, 445/2009, 444/2010, 618/2013, 31/2015, 533/2018, 221/2019, 47/2020, 182/2020, 3/2021, 8/2021, 9/2021, and 20/2021 are hereby repealed, as well as all that is contrary to this decision and the attached annex, or in conflict with their provisions.

Article IV

This decision shall be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the day following the date of its publication.
