We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,

Royal Decree 27/85 Establishing the Supreme Committee for Town Planning,

Royal Decree 24/2006 Establishing a Secretariat General for the Supreme Committee for Town Planning and Appointing a Secretary General to It,

and Royal Decree 102/2006 Recomposing the Supreme Committee for Town Planning and Amending Some Provisions of Royal Decree 27/85,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The text of article I of the mentioned Royal Decree 102/2006 is hereby replaced with the following text:

The Supreme Committee for Town Planning is hereby recomposed as follows:

– Minister of National Economy	Chairman
– Minister of Housing	Deputy chairman
– Minister of Interior	Member
– Inspector General of Police and Customs	Member
– Minister of Environment and Climate Affairs	Member
– Minister of Transport and Communications	Member
– Minister of Regional Municipalities and Water Resources	Member
– Minister of Tourism	Member
– Minister of State and Governor of Dhofar	Member
– Chairman of Muscat Municipality	Member
– Undersecretary of the Ministry of National Economy for Development Affairs	Member
– Undersecretary of the Ministry of Defence	Member
– Secretary General of the Supreme Committee for Town Planning	Member and secretary

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the day following the date of its publication.

and the Financial Law issued by Royal Decree 47/98,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The Financial Affairs and Energy Resources Council is hereby recomposed under Our chairmanship and the membership of:

– Minister of National Economy Supervisor of the Ministry of Finance as deputy chairman

– Deputy Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Central Bank of Oman

– Minister of Oil and Gas

– Advisor to His Majesty the Sultan for Economic Planning Affairs

– Minister of Interior

– Special Advisor to His Majesty the Sultan for Foreign Communications

– Minister of Transport and Communications

– Secretary General of the Council of Ministers

– Minister of Commerce and Industry

– Minister of Regional Municipalities and Water Resources

– Minister of Housing

– Minister of Environment and Climate Affairs

– Secretary General of the Ministry of Finance

– Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance for Financial Affairs

Article II

All that is contrary to this decree is hereby repealed.

Article III

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 101/96,

and Royal Decree 80/2002 Issuing the Law Granting the Concession for the Development, Management, and Operation of Sohar Industrial Port and Approving the Agreements Related to It,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The assets and liabilities of the seawater intake and discharge facility owned by the government and located in Sohar Industrial Port are hereby transferred to Majis Industrial Services Company SAOC, and this includes contracts, agreements, and insurance policies, as determined by the Minister of National Economy.

Article II

The potable water and wastewater networks owned by the government and located in Sohar Industrial Port are hereby transferred to Majis Industrial Services Company SAOC and the company is hereby granted the right to manage, operate, and maintain these networks and to provide services pertaining to them.

Article III

The Minister of National Economy shall issue the necessary regulations and decisions to implement this decree.

Article IV

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,

and the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora signed in Washington, D.C. on 3 March 1973, and amended in Bonn on 22 June 1979,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The accession of the Sultanate to the aforementioned convention is hereby approved.

Article II

Competent entities shall deposit the instrument of accession to the convention in accordance with its provisions.

Article III

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
