We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,
and the Agreement on Reciprocal Promotion and Protection of Investments between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran signed in Tehran on 2 December 2001,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
The mentioned Agreement on Reciprocal Promotion and Protection of Investments between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran is hereby ratified.
Article II
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,
the Oil and Minerals Law issued by Royal Decree 42/74,
and the petroleum agreement between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and Oman Hunt Oil Company signed on 14 November 2001 between the Minister of Oil and Gas on behalf of the Government of the Sultanate and the mentioned company,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
The mentioned petroleum agreement signed on 14 November 2001 between the Government of the Sultanate and Oman Hunt Oil Company is hereby approved.
Article II
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,
Royal Decree 90/99 Issuing the Judicial Authority Law,
and the system for considering lawsuits and requests for arbitration issued by Royal Decree 32/84,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
A new paragraph is hereby added to article 3 of the mentioned Royal Decree 90/99 with the following text:
Without prejudice to the provisions of the Financial Law issued by Royal Decree 47/98, the fees for civil and personal status lawsuits must be assessed by a decision by the Minister of Justice.
Article II
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of entry into force of the Judicial Authority Law.
