We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,

and the Law of the Service and System of Pensions and End of Service Gratuity for the Personnel of the Royal Office issued by Royal Decree 94/2000,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

Brigadier Sayyid Munther bin Majid Al-Said is hereby promoted to the rank of Major General.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.

The attached amendments are hereby made to the mentioned Internal Regulation of Majlis Al-Dawla.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
