Royal Decree 115/2000 Revoking Omani Nationality

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,

and Royal Decree 3/83 on the Law Governing Omani Nationality and its amendments,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The following are hereby revoked of Omani nationality:

– Al-Dad Abdullah Suban Al-Balushi.

– Bashir Al-Dad Abdullah Al-Balushi.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on 7 June 2000.

Royal Decree 109/2000 Issuing the Law on the Control of Precious Metals

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 101/96,

and Royal Decree 1/78 on the Competences of the Directorate General for Specifications and Measurements in the Ministry of Commerce and Industry,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The attached law shall apply in regard to the control of precious metals.

Article II

The Minister of Commerce and Industry shall issue the necessary regulations and decisions to implement the provisions of this law.

Article III

All text that is contrary to the attached law, or in conflict with its provisions, is hereby repealed.

Article IV

This decree shall be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its publication.
