We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,

the Civil Service Law issued by Royal Decree 8/80 and its amendments,

and Royal Decree 43/80 Establishing the Public Authority for Telecommunications,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

Those named below are hereby appointed to the position next to their name:

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,

and Royal Decree 3/83 on the Law Governing Omani Nationality and its amendments,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

Niaz Ahmed Khan Mushtaq is hereby granted Omani nationality.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on 25 August 1998.

and the Labour Law issued by Royal Decree 34/73 and its amendments,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The attached amendments are hereby made to the mentioned Labour Law.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its publication.

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,

the Banking Law 7/74 and its amendments,

and Royal Decree 8/95 Increasing the Capital of the Central Bank of Oman,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The capital of the Central Bank of Oman is hereby increased from two hundred million Rial Omani to two hundred and fifty million Rial Omani.

Article II

The Central Bank of Oman shall transfer the increase stipulated in article I of this decree from the general reserve account of the bank.

Article III

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on 1 April 1999.
