We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The mandates of the Ministry of Electricity and Water are hereby adopted in accordance with the attached annex.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.

and the Convention on the Prohibition of the Development, Production and Stockpiling of Bacteriological (Biological) and Toxin Weapons and on Their Destruction,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The accession of the Sultanate of Oman to the mentioned Convention on the Prohibition of the Development, Production and Stockpiling of Bacteriological (Biological) and Toxin Weapons and on Their Destruction is hereby approved.

Article II

Competent entities shall deposit the instruments of accession with the depositary governments in accordance with the provisions of the convention.

Article III

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.

and the petroleum agreement between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and Compact Exploration Limited signed on 16 September 1991 between the Minister of Oil and Minerals on behalf of the Government of the Sultanate and the mentioned company,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The mentioned petroleum agreement signed on 16 September 1991 between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and Compact Exploration Limited is hereby approved.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.

the Commercial Companies Law 4/74 and its amendments,

and Royal Decree 79/87 Establishing the Oman Fisheries Company,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries is hereby appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors of Oman Fisheries Company.

Article II

The following are hereby appointed members of the Board of Directors of Oman Fisheries Company as representatives of the stake of the government:

– Minister of Regional Municipalities and Environment

– Minister of Commerce and Industry

– His Excellency Khalfan bin Nasser Al-Wahaibi—State Advisor

Article III

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
