We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,
and Royal Decree 8/80 Issuing the Civil Service Law and its amendments,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
In exception to the provisions of the mentioned Civil Service Law, the following are hereby transferred to the first financial grade of the first circle of the general schedule:
– Mohammed Reda bin Hassan bin Ali Al-Lawati — Director General of Electricity at the Ministry of Electricity and Water.
– Hassan bin Said bin Salim Al-Marhoon — Director General of Electricity in the Southern Region of the Ministry of Electricity and Water.
Article II
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.

– Ali bin Said bin Bader Al-Rawas — Chairman of Dhofar Municipality
– Mohammed bin Faraj Al-Ghassani — Secretary of the Planning Committee for Development and Environment in the Southern Region
– Jaafar bin Mohammed bin Ali Al-Sheikh — at the Ministry of Electricity and Water
– Abdullah bin Ali Bakthir — at the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries
Article II
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.

Mohammed bin Marhoon bin Ali Al-Mamari is hereby appointed Deputy Governor of Dhofar.
Article II
Mohammed bin Aufait bin Abdullah Al-Shanfari is hereby transferred to the Ministry of Education and Youth with his current grade and allocations, and appointed advisor to the ministry.
Article III
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
