We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 101/96,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

Abdullah bin Saleh bin Khalfan Al-Habsi is hereby appointed Advisor to the State.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

Article I

The articles of association of the Oman Fisheries Company SAOG and the Oman and Emirates Investment Holding Company SAOG are hereby amended in accordance with the mentioned Commercial Companies Law.

Article II

The companies stipulated in article I shall rectify their legal status in accordance with the provisions of the mentioned Commercial Companies Law within a period of six months from the date of entry into force of this decree.

Article III

All that is contrary to this decree, or in conflict with its provisions, is hereby repealed.

Article IV
