We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,
and the Documents of the International Telecommunication Union Issued by the Minneapolis Conference in the United States of America,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
The mentioned documents of the International Telecommunication Union are hereby ratified.
Article II
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

The Minister of Transport and Housing is hereby appointed Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of Oman Telecommunications Company.
Article II
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.

and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
His Highness Sayyid Jaifar bin Salim bin Ali Al-Said, Our ambassador to the French Republic, is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Republic of Senegal.
Article II
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.

Article I
Without prejudice to the provisions of the mentioned Royal Decree 51/77, the Ministry of Transport and Housing must continue to grant housing loans and assistance to those with low income without interest, within the limits of the financial appropriations allocated for this purpose.Article II
The Minister of Transport and Housing shall issue the necessary regulations to implement the provisions of this decree in accordance with the controls, rules, and conditions stipulated in the mentioned Social Residences Law, including the controls for determining the priority of housing loans and assistance to those with low income.Article III
