We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,
and Royal Decree 40/86 Issuing the Diplomatic and Consular Corps Law and its amendments,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
Ambassador Hilal bin Salim bin Hamoud Al-Siyabi—Our ambassador to the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria—is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Republic of Niger and the Republic of Ghana.
Article II
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,
and the Convention on the Regulation of Transit Traffic Among the Arab League States signed on 14 March 1977,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
The accession of the Sultanate of Oman to the mentioned Convention on the Regulation of Transit Traffic Among the Arab League States is hereby approved.
Article II
Competent entities shall undertake the procedures for acceding to the agreement in accordance with its provisions.
Article III
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.

and the Agreement for Environmental Cooperation between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the Government of the Kingdom of Denmark signed on 12 Jumada Al-Awwal 1414 corresponding to 28 October 1993,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
The Agreement for Environmental Cooperation Between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the Government of the Kingdom of Denmark signed on 12 Jumada Al-Awwal 1414 corresponding to 28 October 1993 is hereby approved.
Article II
The mentioned Agreement for Environmental Cooperation Between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the Government of the Kingdom of Denmark is hereby ratified.
Article III
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.

Royal Decree 9/87 Regarding the Supreme Committee for Conferences,
and Royal Decree 2/94 Amending the Ministerial Formation,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
Article 4 of the mentioned Royal Decree 9/87 is hereby amended as follows:
The Supreme Committee for Conferences is hereby formed under the chairmanship of His Highness the Deputy Prime Minister for Council of Ministers Affairs and with the membership of the following:
– Deputy Prime Minister for Financial and Economic Affairs
– Minister of Palace Office Affairs
– Head for the Office of the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces
– Minister of Interior
– Minister of State for Foreign Affairs
– Minister of Information
– Minister of Commerce and Industry
– Minister of State for Legal Affairs
– Advisor to His Majesty the Sultan for Economic Planning Affairs
– Secretary General of the Council of Ministers
– Secretary General of the Committee
– Dr Al-Yaqdhan bin Talib bin Ali Al-Hinai.

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,
and the Unified Agreement for the Investment of Arab Capital in Arab States approved by the Eleventh Arab Summit Conference held in the city of Amman during the period 25-27 November 1980,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
The accession of the Sultanate of Oman to the Unified Agreement for the Investment of Arab Capital in Arab States is hereby approved.
Article II
Competent entities shall deposit the instruments of accession to the agreement with the Secretariat General of the League of Arab States in accordance with the provisions of the agreement.
Article III
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
