We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

and the draft Treaty Between the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany and the Government of the Sultanate of Oman on the Encouragement and Reciprocal Protection of Investments, together with the Interpretation and Protocol annexed to it,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

The Minister of State for Foreign Affairs is hereby authorised to sign on Our behalf the mentioned draft Treaty, together with the Interpretation and Protocol annexed to it.

Article 2

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

and the Civil Service Law 27/75,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

Colonel Salim Abdullah Al-Ghazali is hereby appointed Undersecretary of the Ministry of Defence on 1 January 1979.

Article 2

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
