We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 101/96,

and the Law Governing Omani Nationality promulgated by Royal Decree 3/83,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

Omani nationality is hereby reinstated to those named in the attached list, from the date stated next to each name.

Article II

This decree shall be published in the Official Gazette.

Royal Decree 34/2014 Issuing Amendments to Some Provisions of the Commercial Agencies Law

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 101/96,

and the Commercial Agencies Law promulgated by Royal Decree 26/77,

and after presentation to Majlis Oman,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The attached amendments to the Commercial Agencies Law promulgated by the aforementioned Royal Decree 26/77 are hereby implemented.

Article II

This decree shall be published in the Official Gazette.

Royal Decree 32/2014 Declaring Public Benefit Status to the Project for Implementing the Roads Linking Batinah Expressway with the Existing Batinah Road

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 101/96,

and the Law on the Expropriation for Public Benefit promulgated by Royal Decree 64/78,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The project for implementing the roads linking the Batinah Expressway with the existing Batinah Road specified in the attached note and masterplan is hereby deemed a public benefit project.

Article II

The competent entities may seize, through direct execution, real estate and land necessary for the project, and all establishments on them, in accordance with the provisions of the aforementioned Law on the Expropriation for Public Benefit.

Article III

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

Royal Decree 26/2014 Approving the Accession of the Sultanate of Oman to the Convention on the Prohibition of the Use, Stockpiling, Production and Transfer of Anti- Personnel Mines and on Their Destruction

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 101/96,

the Law Governing the Foreign Ministry promulgated by Royal Decree 32/2008,

and the Convention on the Prohibition of the Use, Stockpiling, Production and Transfer of Anti-Personnel Mines and on their Destruction,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The accession of the Sultanate of Oman to the aforementioned convention is hereby approved in the form attached.

Article II

Competent entities shall deposit the instrument of accession to the aforementioned convention in accordance with its provisions.

Article III

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

the Criminal Procedure Law promulgated by Royal Decree 97/99,

the Labor Law promulgated by Royal Decree 35/2003,

the two optional protocols to the Convention on the Rights of the Child to which the Sultanate has acceded to by Royal Decree 41/2004,

the Civil Service Law promulgated by Royal Decree 120/2004,

the Law on Juvenile Accountability promulgated by Royal Decree 30/2008,

the Law on the Care and Rehabilitation of the Disabled promulgated by Royal Decree 63/2008,

the Law on Food Safety promulgated by Royal Decree 84/2008,

the Law Combating Human Trafficking promulgated by Royal Decree 126/2008,

and the Cybercrime Law promulgated by Royal Decree 12/2011,

and after presentation to Majlis Oman,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The provisions of the attached Law of the Child shall apply.

Article II

The attached law shall be published in the Official Gazette.

Royal Decree 4/2014 Amending the Schedule of the Salaries, Allowances, and Stipends of Judges, Members of the Administrative Court, and Members of the Public Prosecution

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 101/96,

and the Royal Decree 110/2000 promulgating the Schedule of Salaries, Allowances, and Stipends of Judges, Members of the Administrative Court, and Members of the Public Prosecution,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as  follows

Article I

The Schedule of Salaries, Allowances, and Stipends of Judges, Members of the Administrative Court, and Members of the Public Prosecution attached in the aforementioned Royal Decree 110/2000 is hereby replaced with the attached schedule.

Article II

Those addressed by the provisions of the schedule stipulated in article I of this decree are entitled to the salary, allowances, and stipends prescribed for the positions they occupy in the manner stated in the attached schedule.

They also retain the salary they have reached if it is higher than the starting salary prescribed for their position according to the attached schedule.

Article III

All that is contrary to this decree and the attached schedule, or in conflict with their provisions, is hereby repealed.

Article IV

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on 1 January 2014.

the Framework Agreement for Economic, Trade, Investment and Technical Cooperation between the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf and the United States of America signed in New York City on 25 September 2012,

and the Framework Agreement for Economic, Trade, Investment and Technical Cooperation between the States of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf and the Republic of Peru signed in the city of Lima on 1 October 2012,

and after presentation to Majlis Al-Shura,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The mentioned agreements are hereby ratified in accordance with the attached forms.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
