We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State 26/75 and Decree 13/1976 amending it,
the Omani Banking Law 7/1974, and in particular article 2(6)(1) of it,
Royal Decree 25/1975 Forming the Board of Governors of the Central Bank of Oman,
and the outcome of the ballot made by the board of governors on 10 August 1975 to determine the terms of membership of the members of the board in accordance with the mentioned Banking Law,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article 1
The membership of each of the following members in the Board of Governors of the Central Bank of Oman is hereby renewed for the period and starting from the date indicated next to each name as follows:
| Mohammed Moosa | Starting from 15 June 1976 for a period of five years |
| Mr MG Brown | Starting from 15 June 1976 for a period of five years or the duration of his employment contract, whichever is earlier. |
| Ali Sultan | Starting from 15 June 1977 for a period of five years |
Article 2
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its publication.
