after perusal of the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State 26/75, and its amendments,
and Royal Decree 20/1977 Determining the Mandates of the Ministry of National Heritage,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article 1
A directorate general named the "Directorate General of Technical Affairs" is hereby established at the Ministry of National Heritage.
Article 2
The Directorate General of Technical Affairs consists of the following:
(a) The Directorate of Omani Manuscripts and Literature
(b) The Directorate of Antiquities
(c) The Directorate of Museums
(d) The Directorate of Historic Forts and Castles
(f) The Directorate of National Crafts
In accordance with the Organisational Structure attached to this decree.
Article 3
All that is contrary to this decree is hereby repealed.
Article 4
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its publication.
