We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,
and Royal Decree 64/78 Issuing the Law on the Expropriation for Public Benefit,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article 1
The state projects planned to be established on the land extending from the wadi located west of Khuwair roundabout, north to the sea, east to the InterContinental Hotel, and south to the dual main road—specified in the attached note and masterplan—are hereby deemed public benefit projects.
Article 2
The competent entities may seize the mentioned land and all establishments on it in accordance with the provisions of the mentioned Law on the Expropriation for Public Benefit.
Article 3
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
