Royal Decree 45/88 Approving the Amendments to the Petroleum Agreement with Amoco Oman Petroleum Company Signed on 26 April 1981

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

Royal Decree 42/74 Issuing the Oil and Minerals Law,

Royal Decree 48/81 Ratifying the Petroleum Agreement Between the Government of the Sultanate and Amoco Oman Petroleum,

and the amendments to the mentioned agreement signed by the Minister of Oil and Minerals on behalf of the Government of the Sultanate on 20 March 1988,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The mentioned amendments to the Petroleum Agreement signed between the Government of the Sultanate and Amoco Oman Petroleum Company on 26 April 1981 are hereby approved.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
