Royal Decree 44/2004 regarding the Adoption of the Organisational Structure of the Royal Court Affairs and the Powers of the Secretary General Relating to Its Administrative Divisions

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,

Royal Decree 128/91 Issuing the Law Concerning the Financial System of the Diwan of Royal Court,

Royal Decree 86/96 Issuing the Law on Pensions and End of Service Gratuity for Omani Employees of the Diwan of Royal Court,

Royal Decree 97/97 Issuing the Law Concerning the Employee System of the Diwan of Royal Court,

and Royal Decree 106/2001 Appointing a Secretary General for Royal Court Affairs,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The Organisational Structure of the Diwan of Royal Court is hereby adopted in the manner specified in the attached annex.

Article II

The Secretary General of the Royal Court Affairs shall carry out the powers prescribed to the minister in the mentioned Law of the Financial Statute of the Diwan of Royal Court, the Law on Pensions and End of Service Gratuity for Omani Employees of the Diwan of Royal Court, and the Law Concerning the Employee Statute of the Diwan of Royal Court, and any other laws in regard to the administrative divisions subordinate to the Royal Court Affairs.

Article III

All works and decisions issued regarding the administrative divisions subordinate to the Royal Court Affairs until the date of entry into force of this decree are hereby deemed valid.

Article IV

All that is contrary to this decree is hereby repealed.

Article V

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
