We, Haitham bin Tarik, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State,
and the Charter of the Establishment of the Digital Cooperation Organization signed in the city of Riyadh on 5 February 2023,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
The mentioned charter is hereby ratified in the form attached.
Article II
Competent entities shall deposit the instrument of ratification for the mentioned charter in accordance with its provisions.
Article III
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

Article I
The name of the “Public Prosecution” [Al-Idi’aa Al-Am] is hereby amended to the “Public Prosecution” [Al-Niyaba Al-Ama].
Article II
The phrases “Public Prosecution” [Al-Idi’aa Al-Am] and “Public Prosecutor” are hereby replaced with the phrases “Public Prosecution” [Al-Niyaba Al-Ama] and “Attorney General” wherever they occur in laws and royal decrees.
The job titles “Deputy Public Prosecutor”, “Assistant Public Prosecutors”, “Chief Public Prosecutors”, “Senior Public Prosecution Officers”, “Junior Public Prosecution Officers”, and “Public Prosecution Associates” are also hereby replaced with the titles “Deputy Attorneys General”, “Assistant Attorneys General”, “Chief Attorneys General”, “Senior Attorney General Officers”, “Junior Attorney General Officers”, and “Attorney General Associates” wherever they occur in laws and royal decrees.
Article III
All that is contrary to this decree, or in conflict with its provisions, is hereby repealed.
Article IV
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
