We, Haitham bin Tarik, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State,
and Royal Decree 57/2022 Reorganising the Oman Human Rights Commission,
and Royal Decree 76/2023 Appointing Members to the Oman Human Rights Commission,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
The Statute of the Oman Human Rights Commission attached to the mentioned Royal Decree 57/2022 is hereby replaced with the attached statute.
Article II
The membership of the members of the Oman Human Rights Commission pursuant to the mentioned Royal Decree 76/2023 continues until it is recomposed in accordance with the attached statute.
Article III
All that is contrary to the attached statute, or in conflict with its provisions, is hereby repealed.
Article IV
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the day following the date of its publication.
